RBA Mission & Vision Statements

Mission Statement
The mission of Rochester Beacon Academy is to provide a safe learning environment
in a secondary setting; respecting the individual and differentiated needs of learners,
allowing them to reach their full potential and join their community with success.


Vision
Rochester Beacon Academy's vision, as a secondary public charter school, is to provide
academic learning in a general education format, providing the supports needed to make
a successful transition into young adulthood for student; including those with executive function challenges such as organization, socialization and sensory differences. Planning will encompass
the needs of individual students using highly structured teaching techniques, social skill training
and accommodations embedded in the curriculum.The program will provide training of all staff
to ensure student progress, independence and comfort, working in cooperation with parents
and students.
