Rochester Beacon Academy is a tuition free, public charter school for eligible students entering grades 6th through 12th.
Open Enrollment and Lottery
Our Open Enrollment for new students is from Jan. 1 - Jan. 31 of each year. In the initial “Open Enrollment” period all applicants have an equal opportunity for admission regardless of submitting an application on the first day or the last day of the open enrollment. At the end of the Open Enrollment period, if your student has been offered a seat at our school, you will be notified by email and instructed to complete the necessary enrollment paperwork.
If the number of applications submitted within the Open Enrollment period exceeds the number of seats available for any grade level, a system generated, random lottery will be processed to determine who is offered a seat at the school. Lottery results will be emailed to the address entered on the application submitted.
